Chapada Diamantina/ Leaving to Maceió

Boa Noite!!!

Vários estudantes participaram e deram um SHOW!

Good Evening!!

Today is another warm day here in Bahia state!

Since the last time I wrote, much has happened!
As planned, yesterday we went to Pai Inácio Hill, which is one of the most beautiful sights of Brazil! All were amazed and of course, took lots of pictures! We had the afternoon free to enjoy the hotel (specially the swimming pool) and after dinner, a surprise awaited them. They were very excited when a group of “Capoeira” with more than 30 members arrived! (Capoeira is a typical mixture of dance and fight left from the African slaves to the Brazilian culture and it’s really strong at Bahia state!) After the presentation they had a class of this game / dance: it was a success! Many students participated!Today we had a blast slipping at the 60m natural water slide. Just after we went to the Colored Sand Saloon. Now we have no choice but to rest! We're pretty tired of all the walks that we have done here, but it was very good and worth every MINUTE!
Tomorrow early we will leave for Maceió, the first beach we will visit on the Northeast Trip: Everybody is very excited for our arrival there!!
I will send more news soon!

Hugs to all and best regards from Chapada Diamantina,
